available during future visits and, where supported, across different devices.

Civics Prep USA may also automatically identify questions for additional study based
on previous quiz results.

Unless a feature specifically states otherwise, students should not enter sensitive
personal, immigration, legal, medical, financial, or identification information into
study tools or notes.

5. Speaking Practice, Microphone Use, and Spoken Responses

If Civics Prep USA offers a speaking or microphone-based practice feature, the student’s
microphone may be used temporarily so that a spoken response can be processed and evaluated.

Our intended design is that Civics Prep USA will not permanently retain audio
recordings of spoken practice answers and will not permanently retain
full transcripts of spoken practice answers after the response has been evaluated,
unless a future feature clearly informs the student otherwise before use.

The educational result of the interaction may still be stored. For example, we may retain:

• The citizenship question attempted
• Whether the response was evaluated as correct or incorrect
• The resulting score
• The number of attempts
• Whether the question should be reviewed again

Audio may need to be processed temporarily by software or a service used to recognize
speech. If Civics Prep USA introduces a third-party speech-processing provider, this
